Hi, I’m Alana, a 25-year-old lifestyle blogger originally from Baltimore, MD, and now living just north of Boston, MA in historical Salem (yes, that Salem, the one with the witches). I enjoy writing, photography, organizing (but not cleaning) and playing with my pup, Maggie.

When not attending events or dining out with my boyfriend, Eric, I enjoy cooking (especially when Eric’s the one doing the actual cooking!), tweeting and watching tv shows on Netflix, marathon style.

 I may be small, just 4’11.5”, but I have a big personality...as well as a sizable shoe collection. 

The Blog

I started The Good Girl Gone Blog in college after being told at my first college internship that if I wanted to be a journalist, I needed to start writing and reading blogs. Well, that summer I decided I no longer wanted to be a journalist (I studied PR instead), but the blog lived on.

Though G3B started as a hyper-personal way for me to keep family and friends updated on college life, it soon evolved into a more fashion-centric diary, probably because I had grown to love so many other fashion blogs.

Fast forward a few years- with a new camera, a new lifestyle (cohabitating/dog parenting/freelancing) and a desire to create a space that is truly mine, I’ve still not fully decided where G3B will go.
