Yes, it is actually possible to get away with wearing sequins to work, even if you're not a circus performer/night club dancer! In fact, when paired with the right pieces, you can even get away with wearing sequins to your standard 9-5 office job.

Exhibit A:

I wore a neutral, chunky sweater, which made the look less costumey. (I've had a bit of a complex about that ever since Eric referred to my skirt as my "show choir" outfit.)  For an even more demure take on the look, skip the leopard heels and go with plain back flats.

Also, check out these earrings. A perk of working in the gallery? I'm always supposed to wear at least one piece of jewelery from the store. I love these earrings- they're surprisingly lightweight and add an extra pop of color to the look. In fact, a customer loved them so much, she asked me to take them off so she could try them on. They're fabulous, right?
