Sex sells?
Apr 4, 2010
Does anyone else find the new Diesel "Sex Sells" campaign slightly offensive? I'm not sure I like it very much. In fact, I know I don't. Sure, the idea behind it makes sense, but I don't really like seeing a pair of jeans posed suggestively in a store window. It definitely turns me off to the product. Thoughts?

Definitely offensive! Not at all tasteful.
I find it inspiring... I need to get some jeans
love your website choice, mr espn.
Yuck. I too am on the "dislike" side of the fence here.
Ick. But hey, at least they're being honest about what they use to sell their product.
Compared to the American Apparel ads I've seen in NYC, this ain't half bad.
Of course, compared to anything else, wow.
I totallyy hear ya..its a little inappropriate..I get its clever but sometimes its just a bit too much
p.s btwww guess who might be coming to London in January (you will probably be home by then) but I just felt like I had to share this with you!
gross
oh, i hadn't seen this before. hmmm, not sure about it at all.
I think it's just the blatant-ness of it. It feels like they started with "sex sells" and then built a campaign around that, as opposed to coming at it in a witty/interesting/subversive way. It's gross, lame, and... mildly insulting?
Or maybe, it's just not geared towards people who can see that..
